Adrienne Ashford is the daughter of Emmett Ashford, the first black umpire in the baseball major league. The Baseball Reliquary in Pasadena will be honoring her father as part of Black History Month, She has written a book, "Strr-ike!!" and a children's version, of her father's story. Her father had a long and storied career, and was one of the pioneers of integration in sports. He's not as well known as Jackie Robinson, but took on a challenge that could have been even more difficult in some ways. (Photo by Walt Mancini)
