Over 1,500 families received generous Thanksgiving food boxes at Foothill Unity Center's annual Thanksgiving distributions, at Ayers Hall Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia Tuesday, November 22, 2011. The families came from across the Center's eleven-city service area: Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, Duarte, Azusa, Baldwin Park and Irwindale. L.A. workers unions (who are definitely a driving force behind the whole Occupy movement), 11 arrests were made today at the Bank of America. OCCUPY: A local iteration of the Occupy Movement has set its sights on the Tournament of Roses.
