South Pasadena High School pole vaulter Robin Laird was disqualified from an April 29 dual meet against Monrovia High School, for wearing a friendship bracelet on her left wrist. The disqualification ultimately cost the Tigers their second straight Rio Hondo League Championship after Monrovia co-coach Mike Knowles pointed out the infraction.
