Construction worker using a wet saw to cut into the brick wall at the Braley Building in Pasadena, so that steel reinforcement can be added to update earthquake codes Friday January 8, 2010.  Four years after buying the historic Braley Building and evicting all 22 small-business tenants, the Church of Scientology has finally started converting it to its latest church.  The empty building became an eyesore in Old Pasadena, one city official said, and its been drawing complains from merchants and preservationists. The Braley Building is most famous for the architecture design for its five-story atrium, which the Church of Scientology says that it will preserve as the renovate the building in Pasadena Friday January 8, 2010.
